Following an Ancient Droving Route
Rodway takes its name from the ancient droving route over the northern moorlands upon which it lies. Reputedly a favoured haunt of highwaymen and footpads, it’s a much quieter place today where agricultural drainage has allowed crops to take over from traditional pasture
