Walking the Duke’s Causeway
Gallery: Kynnersley Drive
Kynnersley Drive forms part of a network of raised causeways built to move men and equipment across the watery landscape when the moors were being drained by the Duke of Sutherland in the early 1800s. Along its course nowadays, you’ll find woodlands, streams, ditches, ponds and damp pasture, which make it an excellent location to view local wildlife
